  • It is important to book to ensure a lesson time that suits you.

 

  • The cost of the course includes a wetsuit and surf board. You will need to bring a towel and swimwear.

 

  • Showers are provided after the lesson.

 

  • All beginners’ courses take place in waist deep water so you do not need to be able to swim.

 

  • The instructor will work with you in the water throughout the lesson. 

 

  • Strandhill is just 10 minutes drive from Sligo town.

 

  • The duration of an adult lesson is three hours with two hours in the water, children's are two and a half hours with an hour and a half in the water.

 

  • Strandhill Surf School is fully insured. See the Irish Surfing Association for details.
